Depends on the company you decide to seek employment from and what their guidelines/benefits package/details are.

I work for a company that offers P.T.O. only, “Paid Time Off” which I have to accrue with every paycheck (we get paid every two weeks). I rarely take time off, but when I do, I do because I surely NEED IT.

I don’t go on many vacations because the time actually takes a while to build up/accrue. For example: If I took a vacation of 5 days from my pool of accrued hours, it would take me at least 5 months to build that week back up. But, I also work for a company that issues a week off around Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I am grateful for this.
