Don’t even get me started. I moved five and 1/2 hours away from my Mom. Guess who followed me farther north?

She lives 45 minutes away. She actually spent a year living with me last year as her place was undergoing renovations. I am so happy I did not gain another gray hair. I do not have many right now, and I am thankful for that.

But, I have learned to acquire a ton of patience over the years and I am very well versed in the art of ignoring. Inevitably, my Mom just goes to sleep or forgets what she wanted. But… I do it just to get a bit of a rise out of her, then we laugh about it.

I know how you feel. But, I would not trade her for anyone else in the world.
