Hi, Jason.

I am glad this struck a chord in you because it prompted you to respond, however, people are different. We experience different things, events, occurrences, and also feelings and emotions. I use prompts for writing, mostly music. The two songs listed below the poem as the postscript are the inspiration for this poem as a follow up to the first part that was originally prompted by a conversation.

What I feel, how I felt, and what I may feel as time presses on about love, being loved, or an anyone loving me is simply that-- what I feel and not anyone else since I am the one feeling from my perspective. And there’s much growth to be had on that end as there is with anything in life.

Thank you for your response and for taking the time out to read, even though this seemed to anger you more than connect. I wish you well.
