I don’t need a feature or anything like that. I never cared for stats. I don’t pay them any mind. They are not my maker or breaker. I write because I have to, because I love to.

What I don’t like is the sneaky pushing away of a beautiful art that gave this platform its heartbeat. What I don’t like is Medium telling Writers that they can get paid for their work, then ask for them to pay too, then not really break down where the money is actually going and how it’s divided. What I don’t like is the blatant elitism based on stats, ranking, followers, etc. What I don’t like is the small becoming tiny becoming teeny and perhaps eventually becoming nothing.

Medium has to do what it wants to in order to become a mogul in its category. I understand that but there’s also proper ways of doing this. Medium has never taken that route. That’s what I don’t like.
