I wanted to sit with this for awhile before responding. I see where you are coming from with this, I understand the sentiment behind it, however, seeing me, color is always going to be a part of who I am. Asking someone not to see my race/ethnicity/creed, etc., would be like me asking them not to fully see me. What I’d like? For those who “see color” while seeing me to treat me like a human being and other Minorities as well. To embrace us just as they would a member of their family and not belittle, berate, degrade, & hate us for simply existing. I expect that of anyone at any time.

I think we all should.

Peace to you.
