It’s what happened to my friend Dré of which I write about at length in Our Human Family here on Medium. It’s mind-boggling how evidence isn’t truly needed when a black person is up for the crime, but a white counterpart must have everything stacked up against them before an arrest or charge can be made. It hurts my soul, it’s damaging my spirit and I want it to end.

I accepted this in ACG because more voices need to speak up. More people need to listen. I hope . . . I pray, you will continue to listen to and hear your partner. Peace.
