My Mom has a head full of gray hair. She’s 54, she’s had it since she was 34. I’m 36, I can tell you the number of gray hairs on my head. Her Mom (biracial: Black & Caucasian), grayed very late in life, late 40s, early 50s, but she has since passed on and my heart still aches for her. My Mom said that I’ll take after her since I don’t have much gray hair. I live a pretty simple life, though. I try not to let stress get the best of me, and I thoroughly enjoy living.

I’m not sure how I’ll feel when the gray storm strikes, but this made me think about it more. I’ve never dyed my hair, maybe that’ll be the thing to get me to try a little something new.
