mesmerizing liquid woman with a wealth of wrath dripping from her fingertips calmly decides to rage against all machines denying her peace.

waging war against her isn’t wise, she has thunder for eyes and lightning for words, strike against her and meet your death.

fear rises from the water, takes on a new form, and attempts to seduce her back into its good graces — that opportunity has passed.

too long ago, the sailors came and took and took, thinking they were the apex predators — never giving, she yielded, for a second, before crashing.

halcyon rage in stormy teacups, floating bodies lulled by her lightning eyes, and thunderclaps falling upon ears that refuse to hear, see, run.

run, run, run as fast as you can, keep swimming, swimming, swimming, but stay a second in her embrace, and you will learn the truth: water will burn you just as good.

Charlley and I first collaborated on December 22, 2016. It is a joy to work with her and I am honored to be able to watch her grow and learn from her too. Every day, a new lesson and that is truly what Medium is about.

Braden Turner, please… you know the drill. Sir, get ready.
