Valerie, I want to call you Val… May I call you Val? I have an Aunt Val, Valerie… I have never called her Aunt Valerie. Val feels right. If you are opposed, I totally understand, but I like to FEEL the person I am focusing on and that’s what I do.

Now, on to this baby of a submission here… I have never been married. I have no desire to be. It is not something on my to-do list of life, however, I… have lived through divorce, two of them; thanks to my Mom. I had a hard time reading this. It stings. It sticks. I can tell through your words that you are strong, that you are managing, but I also sense maybe regret? Regret because the past cannot be changed?

And, that’s what makes this read so beautifully to me. The passion is there. The disbelief. The, wait… I should have seen this coming… too.

I enjoyed this. Thank you for your patience and for allowing TGM to host it. I am awfully glad you submitted.
