And, it’s really okay to say so too.

I think… a lot of us have been taught to be tight-lipped and tuck our feelings in, especially African-American men, but… that mess isn’t good for anyone. The best place for your penned up emotions to live is outside of you. I have five brothers and I have watched them all struggle and three of them will ask for help, but it’ll be towards the very end when rock bottom is knocking on their door.

I wish this wasnt driven into the souls of men so much, perhaps — it’d be easier for men to communicate and feel if it was not. Peace, Kern.
