Your clients pay you, yes? That’s usually how that works. For those paying for Medium membership, I can see the vast majority of them being unsatisfied and wanting their voices heard on that — to me, that’s their right. But for those who are not paying and still doing the same thing, to me — they have their needs. Wants are not often fulfilled if something else is not given in return.

You do your job and you do it accordingly. I have no doubt about that. But tell me, honestly — wouldn’t you get tired if everything you brought back to your client (s), even after your attempts at making it better, was still declined? Still thrown out the window, every single time? Even if you knew you were doing your best, deep down to fulfill their needs? Feedback is feedback. Complaining is complaining. What I see and how I determine it to me, seems like complaining.

There are those of us trying to suit Medium to our benefit and make it work on our own, the way we know how. If I succumbed to what I did not like, I could let that overrule my experience. I do not want that to happen. That is my take on it.
